Several vehicles.
One complete overview.
Low mileage alone does not describe a collection fully. It also matters who drives each vehicle, whether several cars can be driven at the same time and where they are regularly stored. A collection does not automatically qualify for a single policy or a discount.
Three steps before a quotation
Information to prepare
A record for each vehicle
Record make, model, first registration, mileage, registration or seasonal status, purchase price or current value and optional equipment. Allocate valuation records and modification invoices to the corresponding vehicle.
Drivers and actual use
State annual mileage and authorised drivers for each car. Explain whether family members or other drivers may use several vehicles simultaneously. Describe private driving, business use, journeys abroad and planned events separately.
Locations and changes
List regular garages and additional storage locations, access and existing security measures. Before buying or selling a car, adding a driver or changing a location, clarify which details need to be updated.
Three typical situations
Several vehicles.
One complete overview.
Two sports cars for one driver
Even when driven alternately, the value, annual mileage and registration status of both cars remain relevant. Whether and how a combined solution is available requires individual assessment.
Several drivers in a family
If different people may drive at the same time, the list should identify the authorised drivers for each vehicle. A general statement such as “occasional use only” does not describe this adequately.
A classic and a modern supercar
A mixed collection may involve different requirements for valuation evidence, use and repair arrangements. Record the details separately for each car and discuss the collection as a whole.
These three examples describe typical situations, not actual customer cases. They are not a promise of pricing, acceptance or cover.

Prepare for your consultation
An up-to-date overview makes the consultation easier. Whether separate policies or a combined solution are appropriate depends on the individual assessment and specific quotation.
